One of the most important places for visitors to Trento is the Piazza del Duomo, which is also a meeting place for the people of Trento. The Museum of Science and Natural History (MUSE) is located in the historic Palazzo delle Albere, designed by architect Renzo Piano. Buonconsiglio Castle is one of Trentino’s historical monuments: it consists of several historical buildings surrounded by walls higher than the city itself.
