Located on the -1 floor where you can admire an original Roman well and a typical arched ceiling from ancient times. Take a seat and enjoy an excellent breakfast with local products, fresh bread and croissants from the Tecchiolli bakery in Trento, cold meats, jams, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli and more. One of the most important places for visitors to Trento is the Piazza del Duomo, which is also a meeting place for the people of Trento. Many centuries ago it witnessed the Council of Trento, and today it attracts tourists from all over the world. Piazza Duomo is overlooked by some of the city’s most important buildings, from the Cathedral of San Vigilio to Palazzo Pretorio, from the colourful and frescoed Case Cazuffi-Rella to the Fountain of Neptune.
The Museum of Science and Natural History (MUSE) is located in the historic Palazzo delle Albere, designed by architect Renzo Piano. Buonconsiglio Castle is one of Trentino’s historical monuments: it consists of several historical buildings surrounded by walls higher than the city itself.
For those who want to end the day with a glass of wine or local beer, Trento offers several pubs suitable for young and old. The most popular neighbourhoods for nightlife are the historic centre and Piedicastello. One of the main attractions during the winter season is the Christmas market: here you can buy Christmas decorations made of local handcrafts, admire unique nativity scenes and taste typical dishes at the food stalls.
